Wedding Package

Ceremonies:

As the relatives and friends assemble, Chris and Rachel have collected traditional and Celtic music that inspires beauty, happiness, hope, and love. The wonderful music sets the tone for the events that are about to take place. Chris is also able to provide the English bagpipes when appropriate. Once the wedding is over while the bride and groom greet their guests, Chris and Rachel are able to continue to play music both happy and celebratory.

The Reception

The ensemble can enlarge for the cocktail hour and there are a variety of choices at this point. Often people choose to continue with acoustic music but usually enlarge the group. This is a particular favorite because the music is full of joi de vivre and also allows the guests to feel the joy but not have to compete with the volume of a sound system.

The other choice at this time could be a pianist who would play instrumental music appropriate to the cocktail hour. The pianist is available when the Blue Hussars’ are hired as the dance band. The Blue Hussars’ offer the electric sound for the dance floor. Their driving beat and mixture of music emphasizes blues and swing with other tidbits including popular Cajun and more.

Some people like to dance but prefer a more acoustic band. Either Hair of the Dog or The Providence Wholebellies will fill the bill. A P.A. system oomph that brings the beat right down to those dancing feet. From Celtic to Cajun to Appalachian to blues, these bands are both known for their driving dance tunes to their beautiful waltzes.

Chris and Rachel will be quite happy to talk with the bride and groom and try and find the appropriate music for their wedding.
